AND THE ROOF WAS LEAKING AND I CAME TO THE CITY TO GET THE PERMIT FOR THE ROOF AND AT THE TIME WE HAD A BUNCH OF MATERIAL THINKING WE WOULD GET THE OWNER SE'S PERMIT TO FIX THE ROOF AND THEN THE CITY SENT ME BACK SOMETHING FROM WHERE I PURCHASED THE MATERIAL FROM AND I WENT AND OBTAINED THAT RECEIPT AND THEN THEY TOLD ME COULD NOT GET AN OWNER'S PERMIT BECAUSE THE FOREMAN WAS IN AREA-C, SO I HAD TO HIRE A CONTRACTOR TO DO THE WO WORK. SO AT THAT POINT THEY TOLD ME IF I DOCUMENT EVERYTHING, THE WORK THAT WE'VE DONE AND COULD LATER ON GET THE PERMIT FROM THE CITY, SO THAT'S WHERE WE ARE.

SO WE HAVE A STAFF WORK ORDER AND ONE THING LED TO ANOTHER.

I GOT SICK WITH COVID AND MY GIRLFRIEND, GOT SICK, NO SHE PASSED AWAY AND I HAD TO BURY HER IN ATLANTA.

I GOT A CONTRACTOR TO DO THE WORK, BUT MONEY WENT DRY WITH GETTING SICK AND MY GIRLFRIEND PASSING AND AT THIS POINT I'D LIKE TO ASK THE CITY FOR AN EXTENSION UNTIL I CAN GET THE CONTRACTOR TO GET THE WORK DONE, TO GET THE PERMIT?

STAFF'S RECOMMENDATION IS TO PROVIDE A FINAL 60 DAY EXTENSION TO OBTAIN A PERMIT. IF THE PERMIT IS NOT OBTAINED IN THAT TIME THEN THE LIEN SHOULD BE IMPOSED WITHOUT THIS COMING
