>> FIRST WE HAVE A PROCLAMATION FROM THE TREASURE COVE WATER WAY CLEANUP WEEK, WHEREAS ON SATURDAY, JULY 23RD, DO WE HAVE ANYBODY HERE TO ACCEPT IT? SATURDAY, JULY 23RD, 2022, MARINE INDUSTRIES, OF THE TREASURE COAST, IN CONJUNCTION NAVIGATION DISTRICT WILL CONDUCT THE 15TH ANNUAL.

AND THIS EVENT WILL ATTRACT 1,000 VOLUNTEERS WHO WILL PARTICIPATE IN CLEANING UP THE WATERWAYS, INDIAN RIVER, MARTIN AND ST. LUCIE COUNTIES. WHEREAS 31 DESIGNATED SITES THROUGHOUT THE THREE COUNTIES, WILL SERVE IN DISPOSAL SITES FOR THE VOLUNTEERS TO WORK OUT OF, WHEREAS, NUMEROUS WATERFRONT HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, WILL BE RECRUITED TO CLEAN UP THEIR OWN WATERFRONTS. WHEREAS, SINCE THE BEGINNING, OVER 95.5 TONS OF TRASH HAS BEEN COLLECTED FROM APPROXIMATELY 125 MILES OF WATERWAYS, WITH EXPECTATIONS WITH SIGNIFICANTLY LARGER AMOUNT TO BE COLLECTED, WITH INCREASED VOLUNTEER EFFORT.

WILDLIFE ISSUES. CHEMICAL RUNOFF AND MOST IMPORTANTLY FLOODING, WITH THE ALREADY DOCUMENTED RISE IN WATER TABLES, ESPECIALLY COASTAL THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF FLORIDA.

AND MY REFERENCE, THE SITE HAS A LOT OF GREAT MOST CRITICAL POINT, IS WE NEED TO HAVE A CANAL, PLACED IN THE SOUTHERN END OF THE PROJECTED BUILT AS A WAY THIS CONSTRUCTION COULD BE A WIN, WIN SITUATION FOR ALL PARTIES INVOLVED IN FLOOD MANAGEMENT. IN SIMPLE RECENT REAL-TIME WATER ISSUE, COULD BE IN GATOR TRACE AFTER RAINSTORMS. THE FIBER OPTICS PUT IN ARE BURIED.

THEY ARE BURIED 2-3 FEET DOWN. EVERY TIME IT RAINS, ALL THE WIRES FLOW OFF. THE WATER TABLE IS REALLY HIGH.
