The FPRA Board will not be able to take any official actions under Comments from the Public. Speakers will address the Chairperson, Board Members, and the Public with respect. c.   Approval to Extend Negotiation Period with Audubon Development for the Redevelopment of the Former H.D. King Plant Site.
SUMMARY - At the Special Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency Meeting on June 13, 2019, the FPRA Board evaluated the two proposals received in response to RFP 2019-003 for the Redevelopment of the Former H.D. King Plant Site. The FPRA Board voted to enter into negotiations with the highest ranked proposer, Audubon Development, for a period of 90 days. The 90-day negotiation period is set to expire on September 11, 2019. Staff is requesting to extend the negotiation period for 60 days. Staff expects to have a development agreement ready to present to the FPRA Board for approval at the regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, October 21, 2019.
