ESSENTIALLY THE SITE PLAN AND TIMING OF THIS ITEM ARE UNDERPINNED BY THE CURRENT DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE APPLICANT. AND THAT'S ONE OF THE REASONS YOU'RE SEEING IT TODAY. THE APPLICATION HAS BEEN MADE BY HAILEY WARD ON BEHALF OF AUDUBON DEVELOPMENT INC.

THERE ARE A NUMBER OF PARCELS, SOME WITH DIFFERENT ADDRESSES, BUT IT WRAPS AROUND WHOLLY EIGHT PARCELS THERE. THIS IS A MAJOR AMENDMENT TO A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED SITE PLAN IN RESPECT TO THE KING'S LANDING DEVELOPMENT.

THIS STEMS BACK FROM 2021- 2022, AND ULTIMATELY THE CITY ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE ORIGINAL PROPOSAL AND SITE PLAN. THAT WAS REPLACED BY AN AMENDED SITE PLAN IN FEBRUARY 2022. AND THIS SITE PLAN IS ANOTHER AMENDMENT TO DEAL WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT TO INCREASE CERTAIN ELEMENTS AND REDISTRIBUTE OTHER ELEMENTS WITHIN THE SITE. WE'LL GO THROUGH THOSE IN A MOMENT. AS I SAY, IT GOES BACK TO 2021, PRESERVATION BOARD, PLANNING BOARD APPROVED IT, AND THE CITY COMMISSION ULTIMATELY APPROVED THE SITE PLAN THAT IS IN PLACE IN FEBRUARY 2022. THIS APPLICATION INCLUDES THE

TWO OR THREE HOURS OUT OF YOUR DAY TO GO THROUGH A STROLL IN 95 DEGREE HEAT TO CHAT WITH BUSINESS OWNERS. THAT SHOWS ME A VERY SPECIAL INITIATIVE TO CONNECT WITH THOSE BUSINESS OWNERS. I PERSONALLY GOT A PHONE CALL SAYING DID YOU KNOW THAT THIS WAS HAPPENING? I HAD NO CLUE BUT I APPLAUD THE EFFORT. ENGAGE IN THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY BECAUSE AT SOME POINT IN TIME, I GET IT, YOU HAVE THE OFFICIAL OUTLETS AND THAT TYPE OF THING BUT THAT TYPE OF OUTREACH GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL. IT IS TRULY MAKING AN CONNECTION TO THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY AND I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THAT . I WAS TOLD ABOUT THIS FROM BUSINESS OWNERS AND LEADERS AND THEY WERE BLOWN AWAY. HE HAS DONE SO MUCH FOR THE CITY . HE LOVES THIS CITY. HE CONTINUES TO DO IT EVEN THOUGH HIS HEALTH I NOT AS GOOD AS IT USED TO BE AND HE WORKS VERY CLOSELY WITH THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE AND HE HAS JUST BEEN A WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL PERSON. WE GAVE HIM A KEY TO THE CITY BECAUSE HE SO RICHLY DESERVED IT.
