I AM REPRESENTING A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE THAT HUTCHISON ISLAND IS A VERY IMPORTANT ASSET FOR THE CITY. JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA, IF HUTCHINSON IVAN WERE A CITY IN ITSELF, IT WOULD BE THE THIRD-LARGEST CITY IN THE COUNTY. IT HAS 1000 RESIDENTS, 5000 RESIDENTIAL UNITS, 200 BUSINESSES AND A GREAT MANY IMPROVEMENTS THAT ARE PENDING. I REPRESENT A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO , FROM BUSINESS LEADERS, RESIDENTS, MARKETING EXPERT AND ENVIRONMENTAL INTERESTS WHO ALL BELIEVE THAT HUTCHINSON ISLAND IS AN ASSET OF THE CITY THAT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT BUT ALSO IN DANGER. THE REASON IT IS IN DANGER IS BECAUSE DAVE'S NAME IS BEING STOLEN. HUTCHINSON ISLAND, PEOPLE WHO WANT TO VISIT HUTCHINSON ISLAND OR ASK ABOUT HUTCHINSON ISLAND ARE BEING DIRECTED TO JENSEN BEACH, FLORIDA, BOTH BY SOCIAL MEDIA AND BY STATE AGENCIES. SO WHAT IS HAPPENING IS, HUTCHINSON ISLAND IS LOSING ITS ACTUAL NAME AND ITS ATTACHMENT TO THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE. IF THIS CONTINUES TO DO SO, WE WILL LOSE HUTCHINSON ISLAND AS A FUTURE DESTINATION. WE WILL BE WORKING ON SOME THINGS, WHICH WILL BE THE SAME THAT THIS GROUP, THIS ORGANIZATION, THE FPRA, IS DOING, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO SIGNAGE. SIGNAGE AND THE ORANGE AVENUE ENTRYWAY , UM, A LOT OF THE IMPROVEMENTS THAT WE WILL BE TALKING ABOUT MAY BE CHANGED BY THE ANNOUNCEMENTS WE WILL MAKE ON THE 17TH, PROVIDED WE ARE ALLOWED TO DO THAT. THE APPLICATIONS WERE REVIEWED AND SCORED BY SIX CRA ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERS WITH A MAXIMUM POINTS OF 600 POINTS. THIS FIRST APPLICATION IS FOR 706 U.S. HIGHWAY 1 OWNED BY BLUE SKY PROPERTY HOLDINGS, LLC .THIS APPLICATION SCORED 600 OUT OF 600 POINTS. AND THEIR GRANT REQUEST IS FOR $25,000. THEIR TOTAL INVESTMENT ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE PROPERTY IS $193,550. THEY WILL BE USING IT FOR OFFICE SPACE.
