WHEREAS ALONG WITH ACUTE TECHNICAL SKILLS LAW ENFORCEMENT RECORDS PERSONNEL ARE COMMITTED TO EXEMPLIFY PROFESSIONALISM, COURTESY AND EFFICIENCY IN THEIR DAILY INTERACTIONS WITH PUBLIC, OFFICERS, PARTNER SAFETY AGENCIES. WHEREAS, MEDICARE S FIRST PROVEN COORDINATED CARE MODEL, HOSPICE, IS A PROGRAM THAT WORKS BY OFFERING PERSON-CENTERED, COMPASSIONATE CARE, ENSURING PEOPLE DIGNITY, CHOICE, AND QUALITY OF LIFE; AND

WHEREAS, THE HOSPICE MODEL INVOLVES AN INTERDISCIPLINARY, TEAM-ORIENTED APPROACH TO TREATMENT, INCLUDING EXPERT MEDICAL CARE, QUALITY SYMPTOM CONTROL, AND COMPREHENSIVE PAIN MANAGEMENT AS A FOUNDATION OF CARE; AND WHEREAS, BEYOND PROVIDING PHYSICAL TREATMENT, HOSPICE ATTENDS TO THE PATIENT S EMOTIONAL, SPIRITUAL AND FAMILY NEEDS, AND PROVIDES FAMILY SERVICES LIKE RESPITE CARE AND GRIEF COUNSELING; AND WHEREAS, HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE ORGANIZATIONS ARE ADVOCATES AND EDUCATORS ABOUT ADVANCE CARE PLANNING THAT HELP INDIVIDUALS MAKE DECISIONS ABOUT THE CARE THEY WANT; AND WHEREAS, FORTY-THREE YEARS AGO IN 1982, VOLUNTEERS CAME TOGETHER TO ESTABLISH TREASURE COAST HOSPICE BECAUSE THEY WANTED THEIR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS TO HAVE ACCESS TO COMPASSIONATE, QUALITY END-OF-LIFE CARE FROM A LOCALLY BASED HOSPICE PROVIDER; AND WHEREAS, TREASURE COAST HOSPICE DELIVERS COMPASSIONATE, CARING, EXPERTS AND PROFESSIONAL HOSPICE AND GRIEF SUPPORT SERVICES TO PATIENTS AND FAMILIES AT THE END OF LIFE; AND WHEREAS, TODAY TREASURE COAST HOSPICE SERVES MORE THAN 4,000 PATIENTS ANNUALLY, PROVIDING HOLISTIC PATIENT-CENTERED CARE AND COMFORT TO PATIENTS AND FAMILIES IN MARTIN, ST. LUCIE AND OKEECHOBEE COUNTIES; AND WHEREAS, THIS YEAR, TREASURE COAST HOSPICE CELEBRATED THE 11TH ANNIVERSARY OF ITS SPECIALIZED PEDIATRIC CARE PROGRAM, LITTLE TREASURES, WHICH IMPROVES THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF CHILDREN AND TEENS WITH A LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESS BY PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY.

I JUST YOU KNOW I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, ESPECIALLY FOR OUR PEDIATRIC PROGRAM,OUR LITTLE TREASURES, WE TAKE CARE OF OVER 600 PATIENTS PER DAY. THOSE PERSONAL INTERACTIONS OUTSIDE OF THAT ENVIRONMENT SHOWS YOU HOW THEY ACT IN THEIR ENVIRONMENT, TO ME IT IS A VERY POSITIVE ORGANIZATION IN A VERY

FORT PIERCE. HELLO EVERYONE MY NAME IS PROPOSING A BID FOR CITY CONTRACT. I HAVE A WRITTEN PROPOSAL FOR THE BID OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR THEIR UNIFORMS, I WANT TO THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE OPPORTUNITY FOR THIS PROPOSAL. I MOVED TO THE TREASURE COAST A FEW YEARS BACK WITH MY FAMILY IN SEARCH OF AFFORDABLE HOME AND COST OF LIVING AND I HAD A DREAM OF STARTING A FASHION BUSINESS.

WE MOVED FROM SOUTH FLORIDA WHERE I HAD MY PREVIOUS CLOTHING STORE AND ALTHOUGH I PUT EVERYTHING INTO THE SHOP IT WAS SLOW SO I HAD TO SHUT IT DOWN WHEN I MOVED TO FORT PIERCE I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE COMMUNITY EVENTUALLY DECIDED TO PURSUE MY DREAM AND OPEN UP A FASHION DESIGN STUDIO IN FORT PIERCE. I REMEMBER HOW I STRUGGLED IN MY LATE 20S WHEN I WAS PREGNANT WITH MY SON WHILE STUDYING FOR MY BACHELORS DEGREE BUT I STILL MANAGED TO PULL THROUGH AND GRADUATE. I HAVE POURED MY HEART INTO MY STUDIO AND TWO SEPARATE OPENING I BEGAN TO SEE A PROFIT, THIS PATH HAS GIVEN ME FULFILLMENT AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE MY DREAM OF OWNING A FASHION COMPANY. I WORKED TIRELESSLY TO ENSURE THE PERFECT FIT FOR CUSTOMERS AND TO MAKE REVISIONS IF NEEDED BUT MOSTLY MY WORK PROVIDING SERVICE FOR MILITARY SERVICE AND HOMELAND SECURITY HAS THE MOST HAS BEEN THE MOST REWARDING. IN THE PAST I WORKED AS A PRODUCTION COORDINATOR AND MULTIPLE CLOTHING LINES IN SOUTH FLORIDA MIAMI AND FORT LAUDERDALE AND WEST PALM BEACH ONE OF THEM INCLUDED VENUS WILLIAMS HER 11 LINE AND EXIST AND USA BASICS. SO WITH THAT SAID, I FEEL LIKE I HAVE WHAT IT TAKES IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN, YOU KNOW? I HAVE ALSO APPROVED CLOTHING SAMPLES TO GET THE PERFECT MEASUREMENTS FOR SIZING, I TRULY LOVE WHAT I DO FASHION HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY PASSION. MY LOCAL BUSINESS HAS GIVEN ME GREAT PURPOSE AND FULFILLMENT AND FINANCIAL STABILITY FOR MY FAMILY AND MYSELF. I HOPE TO CONTINUE TO GROW MY BUSINESS AND OFFER MY SEWING SKILLS TO THE COMMUNITY.
