VIOLATIONS OF THE CITY ORDINANCE SECTION 5 ÃONE POINT 5 Ã1.105.1.

PERMITS ARE REQUIRED FOR WORK -- PERMITS ARE REQUIRED. CORRECTIVE ACTION, OBTAIN A PERMIT FOR BUILDING OF THE CARPORT, METAL STRUCTURE WITH METAL ROOF AND ROLLUP GARAGE DOOR. WITH STRUCTURAL FRAMING AND BERRIES PART OF THE BUILDING.

SPECIAL MAGISTRATE, THE CASE WAS INITIATED FOR -- IS A LEAKING PLUMBING.

THE TENANT -- THE INTENT OF THE PERMIT WAS TO CORRECT THE LEAKING PLUMBING.

WE DID HAVE A PLUMBER WHO CAME IN AND PULLED THE PERMIT ON BEHALF OF THE OWNERS, SINCE IT IS A RENTAL PROPERTY. WHEN THE PLUMBING INSPECTION WAS PERFORMED, THE PLUMBING INSPECTOR FOUND THAT THE PIPING WAS NOT INSTALLED TO CODE.

SINCE THAT TIME, THERE HAVE NOT BEEN ANY ADDITIONAL INSPECTIONS TO VERIFY THAT THE ISSUE HAS BEEN CORRECTED. THE PLUMBER HAS CONTACTED OUR OFFICE INDICATING THAT HE -- THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO WORK OUT AN AGREEMENT WITH THE PROPERTY OWNER AS TO CHANGING THE CONTRACT AND ADDITIONAL MONIES TO CORRECT THE ISSUE AT HAND.

IN LAYMAN'S TERMS, THE PITCH OF THE PIPE IS WRONG. THE PIPE IS NOT GOING DOWNWARD.

SO THE PLUMBING IS NEVER GOING TO DRAIN EFFICIENTLY WITHOUT REDOING THE ENTIRE SANITARY DRAINING SYSTEM. I HAVE NOT SPOKE TO THE OWNER MYSELF.

BUT HEARING FROM THE PLUMBER, HE HAS INDICATED THAT IT IS A FINANCIAL ISSUE.

THE NEXT CALL I GOT FROM HER WAS A CALL THAT SHE STATED THAT SHE HAD ALREADY DID THE JOB AND I/O HER ÃAND I/O HER 1070 -- $74.60. AT WHICH POINT, I WAS LIKE THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE. I CAN'T -- YOU NEVER GAVE ME A PROPOSAL.

LONG STORY SHORT, I WAS BASICALLY FORCED TO PAY HER THE THOUSAND DOLLARS WHERE SHE SAID THE INSPECTION SHE SCHEDULED THE NEXT DAY WOULD NOT BE DONE. SO FOR PIECE OF MINE AGREED TO GIVE HER THE MONEY.

UNFORTUNATELY, SHE FAILED INSPECTION. EVEN AFTER SHE FAILED THE INSPECTION, SHE TRIED TO BLAME IT ON ME. IT WASN'T HER FAULT.

UNTIL I CAME TO THE CITY AND FOUND OUT THE MAIN REASON OF THE FIELD INSPECTION.
